180 Drum Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on any website that is owned and operated by 180 Drum Inc. 180 Drum Inc. may collect information from our users at several different points on our websites.
In order to use restricted pages of the web sites operated by 180 Drum Inc., a user may first be required to complete a registration form and open an account to become a Member. During registration Members may be required to give contact information (such as name and email address). We may use this information to contact Members about services on our site for which he/she has expressed interest. It may be optional for the Member to provide demographic information (such as geographic location and musical preferences), but providing such information is encouraged so that we can provide a more personalized experience on our site.
Each Member will be required to select a unique username and password for their account. The username and password are used to create and protect their private account which shall be protected as confidential (subject to exceptions discussed below). Members may update the personal information associated with their account or close the account at any time. 180 Drum Inc. reserves the right to close accounts which are dormant for more than one year. When an account is closed, all information recorded in the account may be removed from our system and permanently destroyed at any time.
Membership Fees & Purchases
Members and others who purchase products via this web site may be requested to provide contact information (such as name, email, and mailing address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information may be used for billing and shipping purposes. If we have trouble processing a Membership registration form or product order, the information may be used to contact the Member. Any credit card data supplied via this web site will be securely managed by our supplier, Stripe, Inc., and we will have access to only the last 4-5 digits for tracking purposes. Non-members who purchase products may be added to our contact lists to receive future information on products, services and special deals, but may unsubscribe at any time by following the opt-out instructions in each communication.
a. User Profile
We may store information that we collect through cookies, log files and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we may keep on individual users that identifies their particular viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information may be tied to their personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile may be used to tailor a user’s visit to our web sites and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. The profiles for individual users will NEVER BE SHARED with any third parties.

c. Log Files
Like many standard websites, we may use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. We may also use an in-house tracking utility that uses log files to analyze user movement.
d. Special Offers and Updates
We may send all new Members a welcoming email to verify their subscription. Established Members and non-members who purchased products via this web site in the past may occasionally receive information on products, services and special deals. Out of respect for the privacy of all recipients, we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see the Opt-out section.
e. Service Announcements
On rare occasions it may be necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended we might send Members an email. Generally, Members may not opt-out of these communications, though they may be able to deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.
f. Customer Service
We may communicate with Members on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account. We may reply via email, a secure internet exchange service, facsimile transmission or by telephone, in accordance with the Member’s wishes.

Though we make every effort to preserve the privacy of our Members, their clients and colleagues, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our web site.
b. Service Providers
For most transactions, we use an outside credit card processing company to bill Members for services and to process purchases. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We may from time to time partner with other third parties to provide specific services. When a Member signs up for these particular services, we may share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These third parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
c. Business Transitions
In the event 180 Drum Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, Members’ personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Members may be notified via email & prominent notice on our Website for 30 days prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If as a result of the business transition, the Members’ personally identifiable information may be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.
Our Members are given the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having their information used for purposes not directly related to their use of our site. You can ask us not to send you marketing communications by following the opt-out instructions in each communication or you may let us know by contacting our Customer Support Department at email@example.com.
Communications with former Members and others who purchased products via this web site will automatically cease after two years of inactivity unless the individual expressly consents to receive future communications by subscribing to them via the subscription link on this web site’s home page.
While we welcome email inquiries, email sent over the Internet is not secure and may be lost, intercepted, or altered. If you send personally identifiable information (including credit card account information) to us via email, we will not be liable if it is lost or intercepted, altered or misused by someone else.
180 Drum Inc. takes every precaution to protect our Members’ information. All of our Members’ personal information is restricted in our offices. Only employees and agents who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, instructor, billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees and agents must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to user information. Furthermore, employees and agents are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
You have a right to challenge the accuracy and completeness of your personal information and to have it amended, as appropriate. You also have a right to request access to your personal information and receive an accounting of how that information has been used and disclosed, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. For example, if the requested information would reveal personal information about another individual, your request for access may be limited or denied.
If a Member’s personally identifiable information changes (such as postal code, phone, email or postal address), or if a Member no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users’ personally identifiable information. This can be done by the Member contacting our Customer Support Department at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond within thirty (30) days of receipt of your written request.
We will also respond to inquiries about our policies and practices relating to the handling of your personal information.
